Application for the internship program can be submitted by Azerbaijani students of the 2nd-4th courses of Bachelor and Master degree with good academic performances.



Requirements:


A training profile appropriate to a BOS Shelf internship program, namely:

Content of Program

Each program is prepared according to the requirements of the selected profile by our HR/Training, HSE, Construction, QA/QC, Project Engineering, Planning teams. We also develop a special evaluation form, allowing to properly check each intern's work.

Young Talents

The Young Talents project was launched in line of the initiative of BOS Shelf’s General Director Ikhtiyar Akhundov in 2017. 

The purpose of the project is to discover and educate talented representatives of Azerbaijani youth, elevating them to the international level of knowledge and skills within a particular profession, with further employment.

The first group of 129 applicants, selected within the Young Talents project in 2018, has already successfully completed the education period and been employed by BOS Shelf in September 2019. 

The selected candidates pass the internal training from scratch in BOS Shelf Training center on the following positions:
 
  • Welder
  • Fitter
  • Rigger
  • Mechanic
  • Electrician

The list of first graduates of the Young Talents program includes 32 Fitters, 37 Riggers, 43 Welders, 8 Mechanics and 9 Electricians of international level. 

The second group of 125 young trainees has started the education process in summer 2019, aiming to succeed in the program as well as the previous group, with further employment. The education course is set for completion by the end of 2020.

In February 2020, BOS Shelf launched the education program for the third group of trainees, specializing in fitting with a forecast of 60 program graduates by mid-2021.

 

Selection Process

For competent selection of trades, we organize theoretical and practical assessments. Based on the results of the assessments, we divide the trainees into 2 divisions: High scores (more than 40%) and Low scores (less than 40%).

We also pay great importance to training tutors. Our tutors are nominated, according to the necessary competence level for the conduction of specific courses.

  • 3 Months of Theoretical Course in BOS Shelf Training Center

  • Assessment and Competence Certification by MES or other state organization
